Kris Rubio

Kris immigrated from the Philippines to hopefully become a nurse but became a stand-up comic instead. His parents were heavily disappointed. Since then Kris Rubio has been using his musical comedy style to cast an ever-expanding net amongst the stand-up community, constantly touring and creating viral content for the world to enjoy. Rubio recently became one of the semi-finalists for NBC’s Diversity Showcase. Kris Rubio also tours the road-building comedy-related relationships throughout the country. Just last year Rubio’s short film “Hush Hush’ that he co-wrote and co-starred in was officially picked as one of the selections for the “NBC Short Movie Festival”. Rubio’s podcast “In the Studio with Rubio” is live-streamed weekly on most major social media platforms and displays just a wacky array of comical musical improvisation and commentary. Luz Pazos

Luz is known as one of the top Latina comedians. She recently had an HBO special called Comedy Chingonas and was a finalist in the prestigious NBC stand-up for Diversity. A native of Peru, she now resides in Hollywood and can be seen on the new hit sitcom The Garcia’s on HBO max.
